What’s the Story behind Puro?

Puro is a proud family-run business. It all began in 1985 when great grandfather Jafferjee, a trader from India, was travelling across the sea and became shipwrecked. This led him to discover the all-holy coconut on a beautiful island in Sri Lanka. 

After falling in love with the delicious nut (fruit? seed? who knows!), he began shipping them all around Europe and inspiring generations of businesses.
