Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make my own quinoa flour?

Making your own quinoa flour is super easy and convenient. If you’re gluten-free and looking for flour alternatives, why not try this at home? All you need to do is follow these 5 simple steps.

  1. Soak 2 cups of quinoa in a bowl overnight.
  2. Rinse through a mesh sieve the following day.
  3. Shake off excess water and spread flat on a large metal tray.
  4. Bake at 175°C for 12-15 minutes until golden and dry (try not to burn them at this point!).
  5. Place into a flour grinder, or a high powered blender, and voila! Now you have your very own gluten-free flour!
