How to Use

Preparing Clearspring’s Japanese Wakame Dried Sea Vegetable isn’t complicated at all. Simply wash and soak the fronds in lukewarm water for about 10-15 minutes. Then drain and rinse them for a few seconds. You can also remove the stalks and chop them up if you want. It is recommended that you add the softened wakame to stir-fries and soups at the end of cooking so that the flavour is retained.

Once cultivated, it is dried which gives it its brownish colour. Once it is soaked it regains its bright green hue. Known for its pleasant flavour and distinctive texture, wakame is very commonly used in Japanese cuisine.
