Product Overview
Biona’s Organic Wholegrain Macaroni is made at a traditional pastificio (fancy word for pasta factory. It’s Italian). It’s located in the dolomite mountains of Northern Italy.
It’s always handy to have pasta in the kitchen. But not all pasta is made from organic durum wheat and alpine water (fancy word for mountain water)!
Biona Macaroni is made following the Italian production way. The pasta is made using traditional bronze dies (fancy word for mould). This gives the pasta a more golden colour and rougher and sometimes more porous texture. It’s this texture that actually helps the pasta grab on to sauces better!
Biona’s Wholegrain Macaroni is made with organic ingredients. The wheat they use is harvested from crops that are grown without the use of herbicides or chemical pesticides.
Ingredients
Wholegrain Durum WHEAT Semolina*, Water. * = Certified Organic Ingredients.
