La Bio Idea’s Organic Orange Candied Peel is the perfect addition to pies, cakes, salads, cocktail garnishes. You can even use it to add a sweet twist to savoury dishes.
La Bio Idea only uses organically farmed oranges. The best quality oranges are selected manually to be made into their candied peel.
Using clever machinery, the orange rind is then separated from the pulp and cut into half centimetre cubes to be cooked and then sweetened using just corn syrup.
The corn syrup also increases the life of the peel so that it retains its flavour for longer. This also means there is no need for La Bio Idea to add any artificial preservatives.
